Jumping while sprinting is faster than just running, never look back while running from someone, sneak is your friend, always make sure your base is VERY well disguised, if you have a bow use it! I dunno that all i can really think of.
A mod that make it so that you can only have 2 tools on your hotbar at a time. The only way you can have multiple is by making sheathes and such. Also you can only carry one of each weapon unless you add even more sheathes. And when you have sheathed weapons/tools they show up on your player.
