Remixful's Admin Application
How old are you? 16 (Turning 17 in 2 months)
Skype ID? peterkap123
Minecraft ID? Remixful
Past experience? I've been an owner of several Minecraft servers, and other servers on different games (Some are, but not limited to: Rust, Terraria, Garry's Mod). I've been through every rank: user, donator, moderator, administrator, and owner. I'm familiar and experienced in handling situations with rule breakers, even when under pressure and stress. I've spent years managing forums, servers, and helping out a variety of communities. If I'm experienced with anything, it's enforcing and administering the rules, whether it's in-game or on the forums.
Qualifications outside of Minecraft for a leadership role? I've been told many times that I've been looked up to when I was a(n) Moderator/Administrator on different games. This was mainly because I was never biased, even if I had to enforce the rules on a good friend, and I was one of the most mature players in the majority of communities I've been in.
Do you believe that admins should have the right to take action without asking? Administrators should be trusted, and should know the difference between what is wrong and right. Otherwise, they shouldn't be Administrators at all. There's a difference between using your powers to enforce and punish, and abusing your powers. If they're unsure if it's abusing or not the right thing to do, they probably shouldn't do it.
Where is the line between being nice and spoiling the players? A nice staff member is always willing to help others, they're always polite and respectful to others no matter what, and having a positive attitude. Anything that gives players unfair advantages, unless earned, is in my opinion, spoiling them. Hosting a fair event would not be spoiling players as long as they have earned the prize, and other players have had the chance to participate. I honestly think gifts should not be given to others without them putting any effort into getting it.
Are you anti-social? I am not anti-social at all. I'm always friendly, and try to be as kind as possible. I may not talk a lot, but when someone needs help, I make sure I'm there for them.
Tell me about a staff member that you saw treating a player unfairly how would you fix the situation? I would contact the staff member and tell them, "Hey pal, maybe you should take it down a notch. I don't think that player deserves to be treated like that, and all staff members should try their best to treat everyone fairly."
What is your favourite mob and why? The Ocelot. They're so cute! :3
What sets you apart from all the other applicants? I don't know the personalities of the other applicants, how they truly behave or handle things, so I can't really compare myself to them. But I can tell you about myself. My opinions and verdicts are never biased. I always try my best to be mature in every situation, and to handle situations correctly. One of my priorities as a staff member is and always will be: helping others, enforcing rules, handling rulebreakers, and creating a positive, fun environment for everyone.
Additional Notes:I would love to be a part of the development process as well. Whether it is doing a little building here and there, keeping the builders company, or just spectating the development, it wouldn't matter because I love to help others out and I love being a part the development process for servers.
Thank you for reading my application! ^-^
