hello! i wanted to apologize for my inactivity these past few months, i've been preoccupied with other things and haven't been able to make time for updating my mods. last night i did some thinking, and i've come up with some plans for the future of my mods. if you'd like to hear about them, please read below!

as you probably know/have guessed, i used mcreator to make my mods. which doesn't really cause any problems for darling decorations, but for cute n' sweet, it does. because i've added multiple dimensions, the file size for the mod has just gotten too large over time, and also cannot be removed from modpacks without corrupting the whole save. i've started to just dislike the mod, and feel very bored when updating it compared to when i update darling decorations.

more on the mod being too large, it would be harder and harder to consistently update it the way i used to, with new biomes and dimensions. so i've decided, i will no longer be updating cute n' sweet. i will however, be making new mods in place of it over time. cute n' sweet has always been very weird, it was meant to be candyland inspired with cute building blocks and cute food, but it also has a lot of random other things in it, which brings up the question of "what even is this mod supposed to be anymore?", and i just feel like it has too much going on. the assets for the mod are also very inconsistent, as i started with a more cartoony and cutesy look, but it has shifted to something that would fit in more with minecraft's style, and i just hadn't bothered to update the old textures.

i will not be deleting cute n' sweet, so if you want to still play with the mod, don't worry! it will just not be receiving any more updates.

i do have plans for new content i want to create, whether it be soon or when i learn more about creating mods, if you'd like to read ♫

- a biome mod, adding soft and dreamy biomes to the game while still feeling natural
- a bakery mod, adding cute new food and sweet shop themed decorations
- a cosmetic mod, adding cute hats and other accessories
- 2 cute mob mod, one adding cute characters, and another adding cute animals
- many cute texture packs, too many to list them all

tl;dr: i am no longer updating cute n' sweet, however, it will still be available to download. i will still continue to create mods and texture packs for the game, and already have tons of ideas

forgot to say but on the 20th last month cute n sweet had a very tiny update, chocolate hearts and 2 valentines waffles were added

cute n' sweet has been updated!! apologies, i know the halloween portion is a bit outdated, considering it is about to be christmas (_ _") but i hope everyone enjoys nonetheless!!! my birthday was just on the 21st and i had a party on the 19th with my friends and it was a lot of fun, and i hope everyone who likes cute n sweet has fun with the new stuff!!

Official Pack Release!

♡ I'm pleased to announce finally fully releasing my Cute Girl Villagers Resource Pack!

You can now find the pack on CurseForge or Modrinth.
There's still room for expansion so any feedback is appreciated.
I couldn't hold a public testing before release but thank you to the few people who did apply to test, your intentions are much appreciated even if you didn't get to test.

Looking For Testers!

I need testers to test the Cute Girl Villagers pack before full release!
If you have the java version of Minecraft are are serious about helping me test then check the application on my discord server!
(You don't need coding experience, you will mostly run around looking at villages or spawn them.)

Just wanted to take a second to say I SEE ALL of the love yall have been commenting and sharing! I appreciate you all so much! I'm about to post a bit of an "update" on my TikTok , But the TLDR: I have good news and bad news, the bad news is a lot of my release dates have been pushed back because
1. I got super sick last month
2. I've started a 3rd job and
3. Holiday season is upon us.

I have a huge idea that might take a while to execute after releasing version 0.16.0....

 Before I started the pack I wanted to mix and match outfits and skin/hair/eye color in a more optimized way but I didn't know anything, nothing I tried worked and everywhere I asked had no solutions. I was struck with an idea now that could work but will take time, it will lower the size of the pack too.

The latest version of the cute girl resource pack (v0.15.0) is completely broken for Optifine. I spend hours trying to figure out why but couldn't.

Change of plans, there are a lot more modded professions I have left to do, chatgpt lied to me. :< (for the cute girl villagers pack)

The cute girl villagers pack is mostly done, I just need people to test it and give feedback. If there aren't any issues and I don't have more ideas then I will think about fully releasing it and creating a version where the babies are fixed for newer versions.
