SSH and C++ for developing Java plugins. Makes sense.

Hit F12 to open the developer tools in your browser, then find the source html of the page and copy all of the garbage text that is appearing. Then google "Online URI Decoder" and paste it in one, it will tell you what you have done wrong.

This originally started because I was playing on a survival server and I got tired of farming wheat, so the idea popped into my head of making a bot that could do it for me.

I like videos that show off something you have created. I don't want to see 5 things you think are cool, nor do I want to see you derping around in singleplayer. I watch Minecraft videos that have a cool creation in them that peaks my interests. I don't see any entertainment in watching you try to explain a mod someone else made, or watch you kinda explain a build that you know nothing about. Minecraft is a game about creating, and Youtube is a platform for you to show your creations, not other people's.

    But that's just me.

I think the mods are going to die from the bright orange text. Look around in the shop forums, there'll be some current threads of people doing art.

    Search Engine - Website
    Browser - Program

I, and I think many other people, have no idea what you're making. You say it's a search engine, which would be like google.com, but then you say it's a program, which is what a browser is, that only runs on Linux. If you're writing it in Python, it would be compatible on any system.

Python is a horrible language to write actual software in, unless you're using a compiler like IronPython/Cython. Python is too slow for what a browser (if that is what you are making) needs. Google Chrome is written in C, and it's incredibly slow. If you're making a search engine, I'd suggest Ruby or Perl.

The source has to be available to people in order for it to be "open source". I'd suggest posting it on GitHub.

    AtomStationLooks really cool!

    funny bunnyWow. That's impressive.

WindsThis is really cool. Nice job!

    Thanks!
HassanPCMRnice! looking forward to see what else you add in future updates!

Thanks! Midterms are like, this week, so I won't be able to do much for a little bit.
    HeyItsPaulYeash! Source-code!

If you're going to steal my code, at least star it on GitHub.
zRavI don't really understand the language of coders or programmers, but darn, this is pretty impressive!

It's not even as complicated as the vanilla Minecraft client. Making this has given me a new found respect for Mojang because of all the calculations that go into Minecraft, and it also wants me to smack them upside the head because of all the stupid things they do. To place a block, you have to send the location of the block you want to place off of, but the direction it is from the location you want to place to. A player's held item won't change until they look or move, making me spend hours trying to figure out why he wasn't selecting the proper item. CHUNKS ARE SENT IN THE DUMBEST WAY YOU COULD POSSIBLY IMAGINE.

What do you code? C# and Java may look similar, but in reality they are very different languages. I wouldn't look for people that could do either one, because you'll have two different teams of people that know nothing about the other language.

For the video, I made him go really fast, but he can go the speed of a normal player.

Absolutely! Once he joins a world, he has access to all the chunks (like every other player), so he could easily go straight for diamonds if he wanted.

Ab AeternoNice job on the AI, I always hated working with A* pathfinding but it's great once it's setup properly. Will be interesting to see how the JS and Ruby work once they're implemented. Keep up the good work!

I'll post a video of him running a maze later this week.
