For windows go to the start menu and type run (or click on it if you have xp/vista).
Then type %appdata% and enter your minecraft folder.
Enter your saves folder and copy the map into there.

Enjoy the map!

I would try optifine...
It allows ou to use hd textures and all you need to do is copy the files into your minecraft.jar

Get fraps if your pc can handle it, however if it can't bandicam will be the next best option.

Fraps is one of those programs that if your pc can handle it it's way better than any others but if it can't it's one of the worst

Also when you say reinstalling minecraft do you mean you have replaced .minecraft?

I would delete my .minecraft (remember to backup saves and textures) and if it's still not working try to reinstall java.
Hope you can fix it

Try restarting your computer or changing texturepacks..

It usually works for me

Have you tried to google it?
Im no pro at Fraps but maybe some of your Fraps settings are stopping it from working??

Try Optifine....

I would try,
Modloader, Optifine(supports hd textures), then Toomanyitems+any other mods after that.

It might just be TMI is not compatible with MCPatcher although i doubt it due to the fact they are both quite big/popular mods..

As other people said above me MCEdit is probably the best option..

There are a lot of great tutorials on youtube!

Have you checked your .minecraft/minecraft folder I'v found a couple of times if it was a recently deleted save I could still find it there (I have no idea why) anyway if not I would just do what the guys and gals above me said..
