My name is Plasm0n, but in the world of all things Physical, I am called Joe Phillips. My Skype name is also Joe Phillips, but my Microphone is broken so I won't be much use voice chatting. I live in England and obey the standard GMT, and I'm usually on in the mornings and evenings. Usually. I'm aged 14. I haven't been playing Minecraft much for a little while, but I'm looking to get back into it and one of the best ways to do that is to help out on a server.
This is where the application gets tricky.
This is probably a bad idea, and I won't mind if you flat-out reject me, but I'm not applying for any of the above. This is because A) I suck at building, and frankly, I'm not a fan of graphics design. B) Because although I can code Java, it is limited and I think I would slow your server down. I'm applying for the position of Lorewriter.
From what I've read, it sounds like your server has great potential, but you don't seem to have a story. And EVERY RP server needs a story. I'm willing to write one. In my opinion, I'm a pretty good writer, and I want to write a story for your server which will have a few benefits. 1) You will have a good quest system, as you will be able to entwine the story into the quests. This way, you actually have a reason for killing 30 Bloodfen Raptors, or whatever. 2) It'll help build new areas, because if we have an idea of what we want to create it will speed work up tenfold. And, finally, 3) Having a story element to the game will probably attract more people, as it's more likely to make sense and that, in a way, makes it more fun.
About me!
I am an RPG Fanatic. I've played RPG's all my life, as I like the story element of games such as Morrowind and Oblivion. It's also why I despise games like WoW, because the story seems to be irrelevant and all you do is you kill this, collect that, get some money and gear and that is it. In my opinion, that is boring. Which is why, as I said, I like decent story-based RPG's.
Rating myself.
I am not one to rate myself or anyone else, for I am really cynical and a negative person. I think I would rate my writing at 7-8.5, but the only one who can really rate it is the reader.
Anything else?
I like cold weather, long walks along the beach, and unicorns. Which is why I constantly dream that one day I will walk along the beach at -13 degrees centigrade, and meet a unicorn. And then proceed to stab it in the neck with a carving knife.
