    As stated, we're not trying to bypass it. In theory, it is abiding by it. It may be frowned upon, but is it really "bypassing"?

    Actually, the only problem with that is contacting mojang. They aren't exactly the fastest to reply. Also, do you have the information for contacting them? I would love to contact them about it.

    Yes, giving players an advantage. ALL PLAYERS. When it gives ALL players the same opportunity, as stated in the EULA, it is legal.

    And for the finale time, it is not trying to bypass it. It is abiding by it, unless you can prove it's against it.

    DruxeI would love this if it worked, but it doesn't.

    It is still illegal to do this because the person who donated money was the only aware person of the temporary sale. Also, this could backfire if the person who donated told people on the server or somebody saw them talking about the temp sale and clicked the sign at the right time. It would be bad to take away there rank, but by your logic, if it was legal to do this, it would be illegal to take away there rank. If you did, they could report your server for breaking the EULA and you would get sued, or could lose many players.

    Therefore, this method is flawed.


    Trying to bypass the EULA is also against this.

    This thread should be locked.

    If it were to broadcast it, it would not be. Also, I am not saying you are llowed to take away someone's rank.

    That's like saying "donate 10$ and we'll throw a drop party for the server!" It's against the EULA because you are still paying for unfair advantages, but for random people on the server.[/quote]

    It's not bypassing. It is abiding by it. Unless there is a way to prove that is wrong. Which is all that was intended by the post. To determine if it abides by it or if it is against it. So far all evidence says it is legal.

    Actually, You are allowed to purchase something as long as it doesn't effect game play. If it does, it must be fair for all, which it is.

    Phase, would you like to do it? It is not a factor of me being to lazy, it is a factor of me being too busy. I have no time to deal with it when I have 4 other servers to maintain, and a life to live (I actually do something besides sit behind a screen all day lol).
