Not in bedrock. In bedrock the slime chunks are at the exact same coordinates regardless of seed, it's just a matter of what your seed has at those coordinates (mountain, ocean, plains, a ravine, swamp, etc)

How about something fun like leather hides (can't be fully afk'ed) or flint, it is useless, and would be funny to make people farm gravel for currency lol.

A working afk fish farm. Ones from java don't work, and only one I've seen work at all was a large build involving pistons and an armor stand that seems to be really touchy

Hey, long time gamer, but minecraft noob here. I'm definitely your target audience, as I'm a beginner that's trying to learn all the complexity that is redstone. I've watched dozens of YouTube videos and seen dozens of tutorials and blogs over the last week or so.

I say go for it first of all, there's no such thing as too many resources out there. That being said... some advice as most blogs I've seen are much harder to follow than a video.

    1) Write a solid summary telling what the contraption is, and why it is useful to the player (not just what it does, but why do I need it)
    2) short summary of the steps you're about to detail so I learn what a particular part of the build actually does
    3) Good screen shots! It doesn't necessarily have to be block by block, but a clear picture showing everything done in that step, with a detailed description explaining that screen shot.

Do those things and you should be golden.

Yeah normally I'm a pc gamer. We got it for the kids for their wii u first, me and my wife liked it a lot so got it for Xbox one so we could play split screen, then also the kids for their nintendo switch so we can play with the better together update all together.

I'm hoping some people here can confirm things for me like, if i make a world for me, the kids, and a friend, is that world always open to be played by any of us, or would the person that created it originally have to open it?

Once I get upgraded from Xbox one edition to better together (hoping Microsoft will get it done in the next couple days) will I have options of servers to choose with different purposes or rule sets similar to java? How about access to free skin and map pack downloads and that sort of stuff?

There was no demo version for xbox... my fear is just that all of the extra content out there... skins, mods, etc is all pay, and nothing is free. I'm not really a pay to play person, so I would like to enjoy more free user created content

Are there any? Or a lot? Of mods, minigames, and texture packs for the Xbox free to download, like you would find in the java version, or does everything cost some amount of minecoins?
