I would just need to be taught the commands to help moderate chat, or whatever role would be required of me specifically.

What experience have you had as admin/moderator/staff?: I am OP on a small server, where I have free reign to be a builder. I was made OP recently, from being Admin for awhile previously. As stated before, I prefer to have the role of being a Builder, to make things for the server to enjoy, but also allowed to help with chat moderation and light duties to help out on the side.
Why do you want to be a admin/moderator?: For the experience, learning what goes on behind the scenes, helping the community I make my home be even more secure and having access to permissions that would assist me in helping people with most of their basic issues. I am looking for a new place to call home, because the one I am at is going nowhere. I am the only one doing anything, I set up votes, entire forums, towns, and the owner and his friends are not doing anything to bring in new players. A good day there, is when 2-3 players are on at once, (and they are staff who just sit and chat) if I wanted that I could just play offline.
How do you solve problems?:I let the person explain their point of view on the subject, and I reply in a calm and nonthreatening manner. Many don't even know I am admin+ on the current server i help out on, because I don't speak with an air of privilege or entitlement that is very common in people I've seen be promoted to mod and above. I speak to them like they are my friends, and like I am just one of them, because in reality, I am. That said, based on the rules and guidelines I am given to go by, I don't hesitate to immediately break up drama, bs, or general harassment, griefers, etc.
How well do you behave around people?: I am generally random, but I don't go to extremes. I speak with a decent grammatical library, but I make typos like anyone else. In public I am usually more serious, in private I am goofy.
Are you mature?: Not sure if I am qualified to judge myself (or that anyone can judge themselves without being biased) but I would say I am probably more mature than most you have met in MC, if not because of my age alone.
Do you get along with others(Nothing's worse than 5 admins arguing with each other)?: Definitely, I try to make friends with everyone, staff and players alike.

Although for building and chat moderation "Moderator" would suit you perfectly.
