So ive been listening to this song recently and i kid you not it’s callled “Twink” (by Husbands) and it sounds nothing at all like what you would expect a song called Twink to sound like but every time i listen to it and then look at my phone i see. Twink. and i literally burst out laughing. I actually dont know why its called that either its like a very melancholy song not about twinks at all

Thank you for posting! I'm now 41 years old. I remember how things were before the awareness. Both me and my older brother are autistic. He was a child of the mid-70's and was involved in trial studies because my parents were low income and didn't know how to help him. He is now serving 2 life terms in prison. The incarceration rate for Autistics and ND people in general, is very high.

May I suggest another good resource?

A thinking person's guide to autism.

Also, the work of Mel Baggs. Zir work ranges from poetry to essays and is invaluable!

Me neither, until I found out the reason (the reason is related to tortures towards autistic childrens by the nazis), but anyway the term is outdated and in professional terms it is no longer applied because just like ADD getting outdated and then considered as inattentive ADHD, Asperger's just started to be named now as autism as the rest of people on the spectrum
