You can install pretty much any windows application and run it using Wine on Linux, on top of that, Linux has a lot of alternatives for software for example Libre Office is an alternative for Microsoft Office. Personally I like Libre office better and you won't have to pay 150EUR for Office and 140EUR for Windows itself

There are like hundreds of different linux versions, some look like mac, some like windows and some have their own original UI. If you're not satisfied you can always just change the code if you got some programming language as Linux is open source
