I was a total N00B. i couldnt figure out how to break blocks because i didnt know i had to hold down the mouse button. I couldnt find ANY iron because i didnt dig deep enough. i was to scared to fight monsters because i didnt know about the crafting table and couldnt make a sword... then i look up "how to play MineCraft" on youtube and noticed how big of a noob i was.....

I was a noob. I had no idea how to do anything. Because I was such a big noob, I couldn't find anything on YT. I mean, no one's going to make a "how to break blocks" video or "how to make a ceiling" video. I was too scared to fight monsters and after a few days I found a video about peaceful mode. I made a treehouse and burned it down trying to make a fireplace. I rage quit. I came back after about a month and tried to make a roller coaster. I didn't know I could shift off of ledges so I fell a few times and eventually died. I rage quit for a very long time after that, and wasn't in the mood to play it for about maybe a year and a half. After finally playing it again, I got hooked and haven't stopped for more than a month since.
(for those actually wondering, I've had MC since september 2010 and I turned 13 June 2015. I was 10 or 11 when this was originally posted.)
