Discussions/General Are aliens real?

Hold up, hold up. To the people who say that aliens don't exist: Even our most advanced telescopes can't see as far as the universe goes. We probably can't even see 1% of all of the space in the universe. It's almost impossible that there would be no planets that could sustain life in the whole universe besides Earth. Also, we only have knowledge about Earth's life beings. Perhaps some species don't need oxygen, or can't be detected by our telescopes? For all we know, there could be life as close (space distance before some COD fanboy rages at me) as Alpha Centauri. Also, we don't even know if the universe ends. It could be expanding as we discuss this right now, creating new galaxies / solar systems.

Reason for applying: I enjoy helping servers out, it's always nice to see players having fun, and enjoying their time on the server. I also hate to see people having a bad time because of abusive staff or players who are hacking, so I could stop them.
Why should you get the position? I think I should get the position because I have a vast knowledge for plugins, as I have played Minecraft since Beta 1.7.3. WorldEdit, WorldGuard, you name it.
Previous Experience: I have been Moderator on one server, and a Co - Owner on one as well. However, both servers were shut down due to a loss of money. I have also ran a server for friends and family only for about 3 years.
How often you can be online: I can be online say, 2-4 hours on weekdays, and a pretty long time weekends and vacations.

Description about yourself: I'm a pretty laid back guy, I'm friendly, and I'm a whiz at commands, and with servers in general, and if I'm dealing with problems, I don't let personal feelings get in my way. I use hard, solid evidence to figure things out.

Ideas for the server: I don't know what you have, so don't blame me if you have anything, but the Gods plugin, ingame money ranks, ranks with requirements, not applications, and lots, and lots of minigames.

Ugh, here we go again... Alright, I don't want Mojang to remove anything. What we need is a option to go back to previous sound effects, versions, world generation, etc.
Also, mountains and beaches. Beaches are wide pieces of sandy s**ts that are 5 blocks long. What ever happened to normal beaches that you could make a house (that isn't 2x2) on? And also, I know it has 99% of old players pissed, but mountain generation sucks now. They need to make it better. And jungles? Laggy as crap. Mojang HAS, and I mean HAS to fix that. And last, but DEFINITELY NOT least, they have to implement Optifine. SO MANY players have crappy computers, and let's be honest. Installing mods every single version is annoying as s**t. Alright, my rant is done. Peace out.
