Yeah, I know this post is REALLY old, but these stories were interesting. I just want to share my own.
So, this is a server that I was an Admin on. The owner and I were friends at the time. We could also contact each other via Skype. The server was a Prison and Factions server, but not merged into one. I was having fun building a castle in a Creative Plot world that took me 2 days to make. But one day, both servers shut down, and I never talked to the owner since. A few months later, only the Factions server was up. But, surprise, surprise, it didn't belong to the original owner anymore. One time, one person joined the server, i said hi, then he just left without saying anything in chat. The owner was a total -snip-, and I never joined that server ever since. He was a loser and gave his own server to someone he trusted. I never got my Admin rank back either.
