It's not right to post their youtube channels on HIS thread. It would be the same thing if someone posted THEIR server in someone elses server topic. Also when you said "help the guy out and in return he helps you out" i hope you do not mean "sub4sub" because that is not allowed. Just trying to express my opinion

I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong idea, I certainly didn't mean sub for sub. That's the thing I hate most about youtube. Sub for sub creates inactive viewers, so you'll have a thousand subs, but get 4 views on a video(this is an exaggeration). It really sickens me

I have to agree with popeye, it's a way to get people to notice you and therefore entertain them. If they like what they see they'll keep on watching. And that creates an audience which can give you feedback and help you improve on what you are doing
