The furnace minecart is probably the most useless item in Minecraft, because all it does is go forward if you put coal in it. No other fuel items work--just coal. It was meant to push other minecarts, but powered rails work a lot better.
Another useless item is the netherite hoe, because the only thing it's good for is its durability.
