I for one would like to know how to make, for example, the chest of a humanoid skin light yet shaded?
By looking at FantasyHound's ogre skin, I realized it gives a slight impression of the ogre being somewhat fat, I tried it myself but it always turned out wrong...

I've seen it happen due to lag before, but not with a lot of people.
I would guess it's some plugin problem, maybe the plugin doesn't disconnect the players...

F2 in-game saves it in your .minecraft/screenshots folder.

To start a fad, you need people, they do the rest.
Popularity is key here, so spreading it will help like heck.
I don't think Doctor Who is a good fad to start, it's mainly a UK show, therefore it won't be as popular.
I for one, would like to set up something for Transformers or Elder Scrolls fan, as I'm a huge fan of both.
To do that though, would be extremely hard...

Minecraft/Discussion Default texture

Copy all your texture packs into some folder on your desktop, then start the Minecraft launcher, press Options, then Force Update.
There you have it, Default, now just import your old texture packs.
If you want to EDIT the Default, go to .minecraft/bin, then hold the right mouse button above the minecraf.jar, then drag it onto the desktop and press extract to minecraft folder.
Then remove all the .CLASS files and you're done.
