⠀June 26th, 2024 (last edited at July 10th, 2026)
⠀So… I have been inactive for a while. The world has changed a lot
⠀since then: at the point of last pack update before going silent I still
⠀was in high school, and now I'm a CS alumni facing the IT industry
⠀dying worldwide, my country waging the bloodiest war in 21st ct.,
⠀and GenAI becoming a big deal not only in eyes of computer nerds.

⠀At that time I was gone, I pretty much stopped playing videogames.
⠀Furthermore, I feel that, over the years, I partially lost that "spark" of
⠀joy of being creative — like the one when it's long past midnight but
⠀you feel so passionate of what you're working at (be it crafting a
⠀resource pack, drawing pixel art scenes you'll never show anybody
⠀else, writing small programs for nothing but fun, or literally anything
⠀else) you spend as much free time on it as you have, and seemingly
⠀nothing can stop you!.. Maybe it's because of the feeling the future
⠀of our world becoming only more and more grim all the way since
⠀2022, and maybe that's simply what growing up actually is.

⠀However, all of this doesn't mean I'm abandoning PMC completely!
⠀Sure, I doubt I'll release anything new soon, but...

⠀1. I will occasionally update packs users are still playing with (which,
⠀according to stats, are French Fonts and Everlasting Night). Initially
⠀I was planning to update Glass GUI as well, including making a DSLS
⠀shader for backdrop blur effect, however I think nowadays Minecraft
⠀GUI is pretty glassy and blurry already, with no packs needed :D I can,
⠀however, port it to modern versions of MCJE, if anyone's interested in
⠀it AND willing to help (DM me).

⠀2. I still have quite a few unfinished and scrapped packs lying on my
⠀old HDD, including a cool paper-styled GUI pack I was commissioned
⠀with but failed (long story short, I felt SO insecure about my skills that
⠀I literally decided to self-discard the project… sounds pretty stupid, but
⠀it is how it is). So, I may finish and publish them too… one day :P

⠀In the meantime, feel free to DM me here or on Reddit — I'm not that
⠀active in the Internet anymore, but I read them! You can also check
⠀out my GitHub, where I have more interesting webapps and projects,
⠀not necessarily related to Minecraft — for example, have you tried the
⠀new version of HueBlocks? It's a small but neat webapp for builders
⠀to generate colorful gradients out of any blocks you want, which I've
⠀also rewritten from scratch on a modern tech stack recently.
