In my opinion the older one (started playing on 1.7 beta). I admit there is a fair amount of nostalgia, but it has it's logical reasons too. Sure updates give us much more things to work with, but at the same time it has some drawbacks too.
For example let's take an anvil (not talking about the functionality). Before, you had to experiment to build a nice looking anvil made of blocks. Now you just plonk it down and there it is.
My point is, imagine they would add usable chairs. Sure it would be great looking addition with possibility to interact. But from the <insert the number here> desings of chairs we can have now would be mostly just one, because you can sit on it.
And with every little update like this, I feel like we are loosing a small amount of fantasy needed, bit by bit. I only fear for it to eventually graduate from sandbox into blocky version of Sims.
