I'd like to see some more refinement in skinning. For example, I often find myself wanting to make a skin featuring a sword on a belt. However, this is impossible without splitting the sword into the torso and leg, which results in a bendy sword. The solution would be to expand the canvas to a point beyond the leg, so that the hilt can move with the leg, and ergo, the blade of the sword.

I guess the alternate way (not my way) of looking at this is that it's simply development of the English language, which isn't a bad thing. The word "assassinate" was not a part of the original English language, as it was actually added by Shakespeare. I think some of us can agree that "assassinate" is a sweet word.

The other way (which is my way) of seeing it is that a word like Emoji shouldn't be word of the year because it's a shorthand form of "emoticon".
