OfficialVelocityYes, a lot. I am getting it as soon as I know, mainly because the start menu for Windows 8 is poo. And 8.1 lags so much.


You can get something called classic shell that adds old start menu back for free, and Windows 8.1 does not lag at all. It's your computer's hardware that isn't good if it is slow.

I doubt an iGPU will run ARMA III with any good settings, my 780 + i5 4670k gets 30 fps on a good day.

when you say "CPU" are you one of those people who use it to say "Computer" or the actual central processing unit lol


I've never used more than probably 5 mods at a time back when i played minecraft but I could probably handle over 300.

Its not like buying a Ferrari* rather than a kit car, since the difference between something like a 458 is hundreds of thousands of dollars more than some fiero kit car.

It's like buying a BMW M3 for three times the money because someone put a Pagani logo on it.

You aren't going to find a "gaming laptop" that works well, I would just get a dell laptop or something with a good CPU, GPU, and 4-8 gb's of ram for around your budget.


and to anyone that says dell makes bad computers, you don't know what you are talking about at all.

bigfoot1220and other host that cost money are rip offs it's not there game so they shouldn't make money off of it. and serveries are rip offs too they want to know where you live.


you aren't paying for a minecraft server, you are basically renting hardware to host a server on. They want to know where you live for billing reasons, every place where you buy something asks that. Legit companies usually wont come and kidnap you.

new computer: $350+ (for a decent one)

Bravi It's not going to make a difference at all if you run games on a Solid State Drive vs Hard Drive.


Games are much faster when loading on my SSD than my HDD.

Allocating more RAM won't help unless you only have like 128mb allocated in the first place
