Yo. It seems your problem is with the version of NEI conflicting with a mod that requires a newer version (for example, WAILA). I've contacted urcool808 and asked him to update NEI in the modpack to 1.0.4.0 or higher, which should fix the issue. If you're only using the mods included in the linked download, I expect that the update should still fix it for you.
