TheGrim123321Now before I start this topic, I just want to say that I don't want a really good build. I just want to play FTB Lite at 30fps, and vanilla MineCraft at decent frames(40-60). My budget is 500$ leave suggestions.
I want to keep it in the $100-400 range, I can go to $500 though.
    Current Build, http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3lv42

I looked at your build on PCpartpicker, Switched some things out that in my opinion are slightly better parts. The build is $9.91 above your budget ($509.91 As shown by pcpartpicker.com) but I think you'll get slightly better performance and it will last you a bit longer.

One time I was in a hurry coming back from my job and decided to pick up a pizza at a pizza hut. When I opened the box I nearly fainted because of the smell, It smelled of Moldy cheese and it was so greasy it was like they had just poured a few bottles of cooking oil on it because by the time I looked at the bottom of the box it was totally saturated with oil, the bottom was falling out. A waste of 19 dollars

Come up with a good idea something other than 75% of other servers use (hint: Factions). Get a good base of staff train them, Post anywhere it's allowed, Have a website/forums of some type as a place for you to update your players on events and for member to member conversation in general. Get plugins like World Guard and WorldEdit, PermissionsEx, and if you are running a no griefing server a plugin like core protect or hawkeye. Up time is also the key if your server is always down no one will play because half the day they won't even be ale to join so you either need to invest in equipment for home hosting such as an external hard drive, Fast connection, and so on if you don't want to do this then you should try a professional hosting service. Be nice to players don't abuse powers and when you first give someone mod give them about two weeks to show they canbe trusted and if a moderator abuses powers repeatedly then you need to consider demoting them. Make sure the rules are clear and are easy to view (e.g. On the walls in the same room the player spawns in).

BrandtGalaxyEyeThis sound like an actual IP? 198.168.1.65

Nope, You need your external ip adress to give to your users to find that go here http://www.whatismyip.com and give that to people/use it for your PMC post the one you provided was internal.

Find out what your router model is then go to http://www.portforward.com/english/rout ... forwarding click your routers name when you find it. After that find and select "Minecraft Server" and then a page will come up with instructions.

As far as online perhaps a good place to start would be selling basic things such as banners another option might be helping a website/server advertise although you would need to ask your parents before that since well there has to be an account for the money to go into and what use would it be if you couldn't use that money. If your good with programming you could build a simple game of some type and sell it on the web. If you have a minecraft server you could set up donations for special perks (like a rank or useful commands) although I wouldn't recommend that. Really the whole point of donations is to keep the server alive and help pay for hosting and software not personal profit. Donations can either be great in helping keep a server up or it can be a failure because most people will not give their money if they don't know where it's going. Personally I think the best place to start would be the first option I gave. Good Luck..

I have a server myself and As an admin i frown upon people playing mc family, it just weird when they are saying "ohh lets get married and have kids", I'm ok with it if they know eachother in real life but it's a bit creepy when they are using minecraft like eharmony, sometimes whenever someone says "hi" to a player's mc gf/husband the other player gets all grumpy and starts saying "Don't Get too close to my wife" when you dont know if your so called "wife" is some man who is a child molester

I agree, enough of the Factions and pvp servers everyone who joins my server says:
"Is there factions?, Is there Griefing?, Is there raiding" No No and No, It seems people are brainwashed then you have the problem with the people who are so lost in it and go around destroying the server, Don't mind doing it but then that means I go use the block logger and /gban the griefer, I just think to myself "Please just try something other than factions and briefing", Be CONSTRUCTIVE,
