Amount of hours you can spend building each day (average): During the weekdays I can probably only spend 1 hour due to school, but on the weekends 2-4 hours.
Why do you want to help?: I'd like to help because it's been awhile since I've been apart of a large project. I've missed building with other people and creating other things that people get to look at and enjoy. I also really like the server idea as well.
Proof of your building skills (post an image or a video): http://imgur.com/a/uq68x I'll probably be uploading more images soon

(example: "Oh no, it's a squeaker, I hate when kids play these games...").

'But, then again that keeps the CoD kiddies away from good games.'

    ahem

Alright, I should probably edit that, it's more CoD players in general.

Oh man, I don't even know where to start on this topic, so I'm gonna try to be as brief as possible.

I think the worst thing about the gaming community is the toxic people that thrive in games. People who feel the need to tear others down instead of lift them up, the sexism that I constantly see in almost all big gaming communities, and all of the "older & mature" gamers who feel like they're the only ones entitled to the game (example: "Oh no, it's a squeaker, I hate when kids play these games..."). Most of the gaming community is toxic. I especially hate how people treat others on teamwork based games. Many gamers tend to act self-centered instead of helping each other out.

Another thing that really bothers me is the whole "pay to win" thing. I don't think there can be much said about that. It annoys me that spoiled brats who spend their parents money win games instead of gamers who have worked and played hard.

The whole "graphics over gameplay" thing that everyone seems to jump on. Recently with Fallout 4 people continued to complain about the graphics, "Oh no, these graphics aren't super realistic, it must not be a good game,". It sucks to know that people avoid games because their graphics aren't considered to be the most realistic thing they've ever seen. But, then again that keeps the CoD kiddies away from good games.

There's so much more to elaborate on, but I'm gonna stop myself here.

I'd love to help out with this project. I can send screenshots of builds if needed.

This looks like a great concept, I'd defiantly play it when it comes out in the future. If I weren't broke I'd totally donate.

It won't be just MineZ, we will be going on other servers aswell, but the main focus is MineZ. Once I get a few more people to join I'm going to see what servers people would like to go on. I can make a clarification in the post about that.

-I don't know how to feel about the voice chat system. Some players don't have mics or aren't allowed to use their mic, so player communication could be very hard. But you could have a local chat system where within local range you can chat with eachother.
-I also think that the harder the city, the better the loot. So a big city that contains lots of zombies would have better loot than a smaller city with hardly any zombies.
-Not being able to break blocks would be a great idea. Unless you crafted a pickaxe or a shovel. Maybe there would be some blocks that are breakable and others that are not.
-Variations of zombies is also a good idea. In areas that are colder there could be slower zombies, forests with lots of trees would mean that their vision would be down, etc.
-I think that putting in something where zombies would be attracted by sound would be something that would be pretty easy to code. Spawning in zombies wouldn't be very realistic in my opinion.

I will update the thread with all new additions.

I've been thinking that I'll have some kind of system that makes getting water and wood hard. Something like if you go harvesting wood in the forest the chance of getting wood to use would be very low. Daylight burning the player would be a good idea for places like Deserts where the climate is already hot. That force players to travel at night and make survival harder.

The mini-games are always annoying, like hypixel has their own "The Walking Dead" mini-game and it'd be great if it were it's own server because the concept itself is great.

Yeah, I actually will be planning to make this into a server. I've been terraforming a possible map for it in worldpainter and I'll be building on it. The only problem is finding a person to help code because I know very little about coding.

Yeah, pretty much. I do know some basic coding for making plug-ins but doing it by myself would be pretty hard and would take a long time. There's not a lot of servers that are pure zombie survival and I feel like zombie mini-games don't really do it's justice.

I use skype because that's what most people have. Whenever I suggest using teamspeak people usually don't have it or are too lazy to get it. I also like being able to share screens with people and other people being able to share screens with me via skype.

I would gather up my army knife, my crossbow, and try to find where the Glock is hidden and put them into a backpack. I'd gather any canned food and take one of those bottles with a filter built in and bring a seperate water bottle. Then I'd find a small pan and bring a zippo and some lighter fluid. I'd also bring a heavy jacket and any other clothes that I absolutely need. I'd probs bring a small blanket too and maybe a flashlight or a few glowsticks and fit everything mentioned above into a big backpack that I'm able to carry around.

This part sounds illogical, but I'd head for the cities. Everyone now says that they're gonna head for rural places, so I would assume people would flee the city and leave for the forests. Then of course I'd do my thing and try my best to survive.
