    Finally got around to doing all the small things for Bare Bones 1.18 I wanted to do, a new cinematic trailer is coming soon too, but for now enjoy the new artwork!

    I had waited to update Bare Bones to 1.17 officially until I published the pack on the Minecraft Marketplace, but unfortunately I have received news that a pack like Bare Bones is not possible to be published because it can be confused as 1st party content.

    This setback won't stop me though, I wished to publish Bare Bones so I could turn creating textures from being a hobby, into part of my job, but I will look into other avenues to achieve this goal.

    That said, Bare Bones 1.17 is now updated on all platforms, go get your update!

In a way, it's a big compliment but so many players are missing out on your pack. Sorry to hear that but glad to hear you're still driven for your goal!

    i now have the beta but when will you fully release it? just the smooth basalt, glow ink sacs, the freezing effect border, glow berries, glow item frames and the frozen hearts arent retextured! DO IT PLEASE

    Been awhile since an update here, I can justify my absence though, Bare Bones is in its final stages to get submitted to the Minecraft Marketplace!

    I was fortunate enough to become an official Minecraft partner last month!

    Nothing with Bare Bones for Java edition will change, don't worry. It will stay updated and free, however, Bedrock edition will no longer be updated once it hits the marketplace.

    I understand people might not like this change but it's the only way for me to keep reliably updating Bare Bones for both Java and Bedrock, along with spending more time on things because I will receive income.

    Thank you for all the support on Bare Bones and the opportunities it has given me, I'm excited to get to work on the Cave & Cliffs textures :)

    Bare Bones for the 1.16 Nether Update is finally out for full release!

    I changed tons of textures besides the 1.16 ones, I hope you like the changes!
    Once 1.16.2 drops with the new Piglin Brute, I will push another update quickly with any necessary bugfixes.

    If you find any bugs, report them by joining the Bare Bones discord server.

    The nether has gotten quite a big overhaul as I found a reference with the textures. If you see blocks that haven't changed yet, it's either that I haven't gotten to them or I believe the texture will be changed in future snapshots.
