Worst server experience, huh?
Well, actually, once when I went on a server, it was filled with fun mods and had a very nice community. The owner even gave me creative for a while to help him think of ideas for the spawn area, and he built me a big monument near spawn near the other staff, and of course I've never even touched any sort of authority badge, and I've never been known anywhere, no matter how hard I try. I went on said server daily, until 1.7 rolled around, and the server was reset along with the map.
The creator turned sort of lazy. He wouldn't promote any members and would refuse to create a spawn area, so when you turn on, if it's night you can say goodbye to your starter kit straight away. People even sometimes camped near the spawn area. They either killed you straight away and stole your kit and sold it at the scripted store, getting richer than ever, then buying diamond items to grief more people (this happened so much that the owner eventually turned a blind eye to it) and many people got annoyed by such acts of the owner.
The users complained, so I volunteered to build a spawn area. The owner didn't even let me build a protected WALL, so I built a normal wall of cobble and someone killed me and stole my stacks of cobble and torches. I was annoyed by this, and asked the owner if he could replace my hard earned 5 stacks of torches and 10 stacks of cobble, and he refused to listen to even half my sentence. You could usually see the owner flying around in the distance building things from diamond ore, or making noob traps. Sadly, some noobs actually fell into these traps, and people that mined the floating diamond in the shape of Mario actually got banned. They probably thought Minecraft was being weird and generating ore in shapes that they weren't familiar with.
Me and a few others decided to get revenge on the owner for banning some of our friends and getting some newbies stuck. We broke a few of his structures while he was offline, and we managed to destroy them all except one giant one made with diamond blocks, obsidian and bedrock. They were ugly and just in random places of the map. Another friend I got to join the server built his house under that structure, and got it destroyed by the owner who was going to expand this weird shaped object downwards.
We just got sick of it so we complained... well, about 5 of us had quit and there were only 8 including me, so the owner didn't exactly listen. We told him again when someone had griefed my base up in the sky (I didn't want to say skybase or people might think I'm refrencing Skydoesminecraft) and stole my hard-earned ores, such as all of my coal, most of my iron (I left a lot in the furnace, and they didn't look there) and all of my DIAMONDS. MY EFFING DIAMONDS. I don't know about you, but I've only ever hit diamonds twice in my 3 years of playing! Maybe it's 2 years but close enough. So I was mad, and I told the owner to do something about it. I even said please even though he'd already pissed off more than half my friends, and I got banned for annoying him. He unbanned me when I tried again the next day (wanted to see if he'd just had a bad day or something), and I just ragequit. I told him his server was a piece of sh*t that needed some good cleaning up. Surprisingly, he actually agreed, but I still got perma-banned in the end. A friend of mine that wasn't banned checked it last week, and he has a pretty spawn and a popular server with all of these great mods to play with, also having lockette, and great admins. Apparently he even had a memorial of some of his great users, and I was on there. It would be rather great, wouldn't it? After that sign he said 'well, he used to be awesome' and put up a very twisted version of what happened, claiming me and my friends had replaced his 'awesome' builds with giant, obscene gestures and very rude bodyparts, such as the area between the two legs of a man. Afterwards (yes, there's more) I re-added the server IP and found out I was unbanned. I said hello to the users, and I was already getting hate hurled at me to 'being rude towards the awesome guy'. It doesn't take a large brain to figure out the 'awesome guy' was the server owner, and when said man came on he did something rather childish. He made my text a different colour using one of his plugins so everyone could see what we were saying, and hurled some of the worst insults I'd seen since an assh**e named Axew13 came to what used to be my favourite site, and actually banned me again. I would've thought he'd have changed by then, but no. He was still the 14 year old, childish Minecrafter I knew back then.
