Using Eclipse makes you start from scratch, but you can be more creative with your work.
Android Studio is like Visual Studio, where you are given options and layouts to build you app. You have drags and drop objects, such as buttons and what not.
Which is better to use? In my opinion, Eclipse, if you can learn to build an app in Eclipse for Android OS, then Andriod Studio will be no problem to use to try later on. Also another heads up, Andriod Studio isn't a complete IDE or anything, so you won't be able to be as flexible with your code, unlike Eclipse.
