Why do you want to be on the server?:
I would like to become a member of the staff because I want to help out other people and to bring down others who defy the rules. I have experience of being a server host and being griefed which led to me closing down the server. I’m also a whiz with ALL bukkit plugins and a pro on setting up permissions and configuring plugin settings.
I love making others happy when they play video games. Whenever I see a person get griefed, I always feel sorry for them because of my past experiences and I always would think and try to find out who the griefer was. I usually end up finding them and getting “threatened” to get hacked but I ignore the fact that they could get charged. Bringing joy to other plays just like me and the rest of the gaming community is an opportunity for me to show all griefers, haters, trolls, and just plain bullies that they have to face the consequences and not only online, but also in real life if the bullying gets serious with threats over the internet.
Everyone hates a goody-two shoes staff member who’s strict and takes their job like, 9999% seriously and banning people for instance, if a player goes inside iJustine’s house or a staff members’ house and the Mod or Admin bans them for entering the house even if it was protected and no harm could be dealt. Something like that is a ridiculous reason to ban someone on a Minecraft server.
I also want to become a member of the staff because of the current already friendly community and staff members that could always get each other’s back when times get tough. The fact that people are getting bullied everyday either off the internet or in real life, really concerns everyone and if a group works together as a team, we can conquer the problem. I’m not saying that WE can stop bullying in general but hopefully stop rule benders and bullies to stop doing what’s wrong.
I also have a very great sense of humour and could cheer people up with my harmless jokes that don’t offend anyone. I can also get serious when stuff really gets serious, like, 1 player dis obeying everything the staff says and hacks the server, destroys the whole map. Well, I think I’m over exaggerating with this but when a player goes super-duper hard-core with the griefing and hacking and making other players unhappy and miserable in the server.
I’m also a challenge accepter. Any challenge? I’m up for it! I challenge other players with Mazes, puzzles, traps, and other of those confusing mind bending contraptions you could build on Minecraft. I wouldn’t say I’m FVDisco or SethBling pro with redstone, I’d say I would be a general average redstone engineer who could build the general like elevators, harvestors, light systems, rollercoasters and many many more. I also love making fun activities for the players to enjoy. All kinds of genres for suitable players, for example: A PVP arena for those who love battling it out for prizes, Puzzles for players who loves to take a challenge and use their Minecraft/ Real life knowledge to get pass the level, rollercoasters for people who just tend to cruise and have fun and chill, Spleef arenas for those who want to watch people fall in water or lava and win that are great to have for their minecraft experience.
What previous experience have you had with helping run a server?: I've hosted 2 servers, been a mod on 3, and an admin on 4.
