IGN: Splezinator
SKYPE: RiverCrap
NAME: River
AGE: 16
POSITION WANTED: Admin or above.

HOW MUCH EXPERIENCE?:
I've been a member of Minecraft for almost 4 years now. I have bought the game back in the BETA 1.7 version. Due to this, I have been on lots of servers, met lots of people, and dealt with a lot of situations.
I have been an (Head-)Admin several times before on servers who eventually shut down and never came back online. I've also shared the position of Owner two times.
I have a bit of knowledge about plugins, and know how to take care of problems between players and between player - server related issues.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO JOIN?:
I just want to be part of a mature and fun community. I want to be able to enjoy the game to the fullest, like back in the days.
What also resulted in me writing this application is that you referred to a Medieval RPG style of a server. I love RPGs and I just love the medieval setting. I was thinking to myself: "I just have to get on this server, staff or not."
I also really like to help people out. I want to guide the new players and make them feel at home by giving them a warm and fuzzy welcome, helping with whatever I can. It doesn't matter what problem they have either. If it has something to do with another player, the server, or even if it has to do with myself, I will help them. If it does have to do with me, I will try and will succeed in improvement.
I just want to help out the community and improve myself and the server.

ANY OTHER THINGS?:
- I'm very mature, personality and appearance wise. A lot of people mistake me for 18+ (dead serious).
- I am a trustworthy person. I wouldn't do anything that would harm the server or the community.
- I am nice and a comfortable person to be around with.
- I can be a bit soft when handling with people, but when the time comes, I'm very serious about the issue that we're having at that moment.
- Due to my creative mind, I might come up with great ideas for the server.
- I pay great attention to details, so if I notice anything, I will take care of it. With this I mean, for example, player conflicts or bugs in the system.
- Other than that, I'm a creative and helpful person. I like to draw, play games, listen to music and do fun things with friends.

Also, if you'd like to know anything else about me, add me on Skype and ask me about it. c:

Thanks for taking the time to read my application...
Peace off~

Application:
Well since you're looking for an Owner, I'd like to help out and play the role of an Owner.
Age: 16.
Name: Nigel.
Skype: Please PM me for my Skype.
Experience:
I've been playing Minecraft since 2011, in the BETA 1.7.3 update. I've been quite an old player, so I've been on a lot of servers and have gained lots of experience. I have shared the position of Owner 2 times already and have been (Head-)Admin quite a few times on servers that eventually shut down.
Plans for the server:
I would like to make a survival PVP server. You're not allowed to grief. You have to be nice to others and respect them as well.
If you want to know more, contact me.

I was thinking about it as well, but I don't know an actual event which I can talk about... Do you know any? (Minecon could be possible, but I don't know if there's any information available other than the LIVE video.)

I can't really make a report out of this, thanks though.
This is because the video you sent are about facts, but I need to have an actual happening/event/moment which I can describe.

I don't know if you guys will read this, but already a big thank you!
I wouldn't have guessed such helpful people would comment so quickly! I think I might've decided... but I think I might still check this post tomorrow before I leave, just to be sure.

Again, thanks for the help. xD

karrthus1or you can buy it on steam for £20

I would've done that if my PC didn't suck though. :/
I've wanted to buy a new PC for a long time now, but I just don't get to it. Also, although I'm a PC gamer myself, I'd rather have this game for the PS3.

welp that makes my post null and void

Still thanks for the advice though. I know a lot of games are a lot cheaper on Steam, so if I finally get a new PC, I'm definitely going to buy some sweet games off of there.

Anyways, thanks for all the help.
I'll figure it out myself from now on.
I really thought it would be really expensive, so that's why my budget was 2000 or perhaps more. You taught me that it can be lots more cheaper, thanks for that!

What is this computer going to be used for?
Mostly gaming and some travelling to my friends' houses. And maybe I'd like to do some recording and video-editting as well in the future.
What is your budget?
I'd like to not go above 2000, but if I have to, then I will need to get more money.
Where do you live? If in the US, do you have a nearby Microcenter?
West-Europe. Also, never heard of a Microcenter.
What is included in the budget?
Just the computer itself basically, but if I'm going to buy a desktop/PC I'll have to get a monitor screen as well.
Will you be overclocking?
I do not quite understand this and don't know what to respond.
Will you be reusing any parts?
I won't reuse any parts of my old laptop, if that's what you're saying.
What OS do you want?
I will be using Windows 7 or 8. It depends on what's better. Some say Windows 8 is bad for gaming, but others say it's actually really good, so I don't know what to believe.
Any specific case preferences?
Well I'd prefer a gaming laptop for going to a friend's house, but if I would it's smarter to just build a desktop/PC that's fine I guess.
If it's going to be expensive, I don't mind using a really plain case, but the style I like is something like this:
http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/Gamer-Paladin-E840
http://www.ibuypower.com/Product/Revolt
Or the cool matte design of this laptop:
http://www.ibuypower.com/Product/Valkyrie-Gaming-Laptop
Anything white/black and blue is fine with me, but I prefer the white and blue combination.
Any other special features that you want in the build?
An SSD would be nice, but it kinda depends on which would be better to use in a laptop or desktop, an SSD or a hard drive? It certainly has to have wifi. Also I'd like to at least have 8GB of RAM.

If there any tips you could give me, please do. I look forward to your respond.

Yeah, I already have Steam.
But I just don't want to buy games just yet, I first want to hear other's opinions, 'cause I know (some) people on PMC help others out really well.

I think oxidization would have something to say about that. . .
Ah, some good sophisticated humor...

I have a list for this forum post. I'm going to assume most of my friends survived, unless this happened across the country instantenously. According to the rate of zombie travel, if they have to bite every single person, the military would be very able to quarantine a small area. Considering that real-life soldiers shoot correctly, most zombies would be reduced to piles of moaning goop rather quickly. Also, the actual spread rate(via bite) would be very slow, meaning only 10-15 people would ever be infected with it.

As for stronger zombies, human body limitations and gravity prevent extremely jumpy zombies, such as the World War Z creations. Due to the lack of any cognitive thought other than basic motor skills, zombies would be extremely easy to outsmart. It would be possible to simply walk through them, minding the arms and swatting them away without any reaction.

Myth 1: Zombies are attracted to noise.
Busted: Zombies wouldn't have any sound-registering parts of their brain left; they are basically deaf.
Myth 2: Hitting a zombie in the head is the only effective way to kill it.
Busted: Sure, it would stop the movement, but you can't have movement without a functioning heart. The lack of blood and oxygen being passed to the muscles would essentially make them wither away into dust particles; the same thing happens to mummies in heat - they just decompose.
Myth 3: Zombies are extremely strong in groups.
Busted: They are less coordinated than normal humans, and wouldn't understand that zombies are there. As they have no actual sight-perception, due to lack of a brain, they would not notice anything, or have any way of telling what is front of them. Since they are deaf, it would be impossible for them to do anything beyond shamble around aimlessly. Technically, they have no touch sensory either.

I also thought about this a few weeks ago... I was like: ''If you think about it, the zombie apocalypse wouldn't be that dangerous after all.''

Good choice... but my second reason for suicide would be because I don't want zambies munching on my flesh.

I hate The Last of Us zombies... I don't want to be a quiet sneaky guy, I want to rush into a building with an assault rifle and just rampage at all the zombies... or I could get a shovel and shovel all the way down!

It would be cool to have birds, but I think that would just make the game laggier and it would be better to let the modders handle this kind of stuff, 'cause if Mojang would add all kind of birds, there would be too many mobs.

I know what you're talking about. :/
I had to deal with the same thing, but in a slightly different way. The Owners should've made a poll or something like that to let the players choose...

We are the worst creatures ever known. Before you're going to hate on me, I'm also insulting myself, so there's no reason for you to reply on this.
