GPA is your grade point average; it shows how well you perform as a student.

Also, @OP There is a flaw in your poll. Some schools use a different GPA system, where an A is a 5.0. You're going to have way more people choosing 4.0 then normal, as such why 50% of PMC users said that they are straight A students.
