Is your minecraft open??? try getting task manager and shutting it down that might work... but what you want to do is delete everything in your .minecraft folder ACCEPT for these files : Saves (folder) screenshots (folder) lastlogin.dat servers.dat
texturepacks (folder) then just delete everything accept those files in your .minecraft folder, simlpy launch minecraft and it should download vanilla minecraft hope this helps
