if hes real, Herobrine would be hidden in the code... Some nerd may find it, but some fool that thinks hes right wont. i mean, are you freaking stupid? why would notch put a demon in the code thats out in the plain open? dig deeper...
I know some douche bags that just search the .jar, the minecraft directory. that wont prove anything, you need the source code, the modding files.

By ghosts in the code, they mean hidden things, things that are hidden in the code... So derp to you, people that say herobrine is not in the code. Im not saying he is, but im saying he 'might' be a 'ghost' in the code.

Herobrine is a name that players gave him. I'm not saying hes real, but its obvious why you didnt find anything in search of herobrine in the minecraft directory.

Version of Steve with white eyes, took place in the very first versions of minecraft, to test the A.I of mobs and such. People being people, took it too seriously as Notch didn't announce this figure, so the people gave its name "Herobrine". Notch then removed the figure with the new name Herobrine, but the rumors continued. Lets just say that Notch had enough of the peoples crap, so he decided to throw a curse upon Herobrine, and remove ALL evidence of any ghostly figure!... So there he kneels down... Herobrine.. on his knee's, begging for back in!..
Then the people scream on him... "FUS DOH RAH!!!!"

Well, kids.. That's what i heard

Glitch, or admin from the server command killed you (if not, then the person running the server, does not need to be ingame)

Gah, png's can be HIDDEN using code, ive done it before... gawsh... also, if its pink and green then its either a graphics bug or its MADE WITH CODE. its rather easy to do this stuff... still can i have the world?

once upon a time me and my brother were running mindlessly in a dark cave without any torches. We came across a slime and so we broke it up and decided to bring home lots of small slimes in the dark . But on our way home, kiddy slimes were falling in number's!! :O, I told my brother to stay on the spot as i went back to look for the missing ones... i came back without any of the missing slime, but my brother wasn't there. An enderman standing right where he was! I ran to the surface, and as soon as i saw daylight, A COW FELL FROM THE ROOF AND CHASED ME BACK DOWN THAT CAVE... I ended up back where the enderman was, only the enderman wasn't there, my brother was...

True story of a fun multiplayer, no mods, no plug-ins, he didn't use mob disguise. scary for me, not for you.

Never say something doesn't exist JUST because you haven't seen it... Now don't go on about "No herobrine texture" or "No herobrine code". I'm familiar with it, I myself have hidden code using code, then again using code to hide this code. A simple way to hide herobrine.
I'm not saying herobrine is real, I'm just saying things are going on in minecraft, some state herobrine as a figure of steve with white eyes, others state herobrine as a way of saying something weird happened and its NOT a glitch. Now just wait.. you people that say herobrine is "FAKE" will soon spot something all us others have.. then YOU will be the one coming to this forum and making threads about what you saw, and we will believe you... your "pro miner" friends wont...

Yep, i know, what you know. I just added the herobrine thing in this thread because uhhhh, idk lol. I dont believe in herobrine, but i will if i see it myself. i have heard that herobrines code and skin are hidden using more code and such, but i believe nothing till my eyes tell me... so, lets get this straight people, so you dont tell me that the screen shots dont help. I made a redstone trap/piston door etc. and all the wiring popped off, i took screen shots and ran off. Thats all there is to the story.
