for around 9 hours so i can catch up on sleep

please read all of this; i spent a lot of time articulating my randomly segmented thoughts into cohesive english.
ok, seriously though, you've likely noticed that a lot of people are leaving here (PMC) for whatever their own reasons are, and that's probably spread a decent bit of dissatisfaction.
so, life happens. chances are you know that quite well.
on a personal level, i really like this place, and find all of the bonds and relationships formed between me and others to be of the utmost value, and therefore cannot be replaced by anything else.
all of you sharing your thoughts and ideas and experiences is like a platonia of the mind; i never would've known all of you wonderful people on here exist otherwise.
but maybe, on a more temporal note, all that this is is simply a dopamine loop of opening PMC, seeing if you have notifications, scrolling, and having social connections. how actually "real" is that? that's the debatable part. if i come up to you in person, face-to-face, and have a completely normal conversation about the current el niño season, that is a "real" interaction. how "real" is it if we have that conversation through a screen, with only text?
i disagree. i think that all social connection - even if it's using cold war high frequency radios to transmit morse code - is real to some extent. that includes you reading this wall post, thinking to yourself, "what is this guy on about?"
writing systems have existed since ancient mesopotamia, and yet humans have not become any less human over those few thousand years.
with text, you never know how the reader will interpret it. you can try to predict it, to lead the flow of thought into a certain bank, but every reader is a unique person with unique thoughts and experiences that will inevitably impact that interpretation. in short, you don't know how saying something random and seemingly unimportant could have such a huge effect on someone's life. this is often referred to as the butterfly effect. great movie, but basically the idea is that a butterfly flaps its wings, and the wind resulting from that could create a tornado on the other side of the planet. maybe not necessarily likely, but the natural entropy and chaos of the universe predicts that.

TL;DR: words, time, the second law of thermodynamics, and social experiences are all immensely valuable and you should cherish them to your heart's content.

no i'm not actually leaving pmc or taking a break or anything like that, i just figured i may as well vent my last three hours of thought onto this silly minecraft forum site, especially given the recent circumstances.

I honestly agree with this post 100 percent. I know that I only joined 8 months ago (has it really been that long?) but even in that time I have noticed the common sense of thinking before you say something to be heading south. Actually I don’t even believe that this post should be necessary. Get it together guys, we want to keep a clean community here and to remain family friendly.

Well last night i did a fair bit of mod testing with my friend Livingchest and found some issues that I need to fix


the mask Konahrik - the regeneration doesn't work


need to fix textures of the Daedric sword, Stalhrim War-axe, and Ebony shield.


The Imperial Heavy Armor needs retextured


The Nightingale Blade's effects worked - It heals the players saturation and health per hit on a target


Dawnbreaker works well too - If an undead mob dies by the blade, all undead within 6 blocks also dies.


also may have figured out how to apply effects to entities if they are within a certain radius of the player....
