With that budget you cant achieve the framerate you desire, but thats not really a drawback. Most people who play minecraft never get over 40 fps unless all their setting are on low. Just make sure there is a separate graphics card in it and that will help. Go to best buy or frys electronics and look there, or go used...but i never really recommend that.

I agree about the cooling, and if you don't have the money then don't bother, but if you do have the money then totally worth it. John Buck said he wanted a laptop, I didn't say he should necessarily get a laptop because of course a desktop will be better. But he said he wanted a laptop and I don't blame him because of portability. So therefore he should have a dedicated gpu because the alternative is super lame.

You are all wrong. Alienware is the best computer and laptop brand other than custom of course. Its not just about cpu speed and RAM specs, you have to go into the hardware itself to see the difference. Alienware laptops have way more dedicated memory and bus terminals for quick computing at ridiculous FPS. The actual structure of it out performs any other brand. My suggestion is to save for the alienware 17 though. There is a big difference.

Are you sure you want to spend that much money? I have a great PC and i only spent $800. Well if you are sure you want to spend that on a Laptop, then go to this link.

    http://www.alienware.com/Landings/laptops.aspx?ST=alienware&dgc=ST&cid=246707&lid=4263762&acd=123098073120560

Click on the Alienware 18 option. This PC will be portable and will run all games at crazy FPS at the highest settings, hopefully this helps.

If you don't want to spend that kind of money then just go to best buy and find one for $800+ with a quadcore processor clocking at 2.0ghz+ per core and at least 8 gb of RAM.
