Just got done making my lunches for the week. Picked this one out just because of its name, so I could have fun telling my coworkers what I am having lol. Making "John Wayne Casserole". Which apparently the story is, it was a recipe that John Wayne himself contributed to a 70's cookbook lol

*sound of me banging my head on keyboard, trying to get the shape of this helicopter right. Spent the last hour just trying to get the windshield made. So many curves and angles lol. (I'm not actually banging my head on the keyboard, don't worry lol)

Been a whopping 4 months since I last built one, But finally decided to start working on building another Helicopter. Aircraft just never was my specialty, but I will be building it in "my scale" this time, instead of trying make it fit in a certain size.
Also I briefly looked at building a house, but changed my mind lol

(If you aren't sure what "my scale" is. Its kind of 2:1 I think? But I never do research on sizes. I just kind of "Eyeball it" lol

Not me considering buying more History books, in the hundreds of pages in length, that I am never going to read all the way through. When I already have a few history books of that length that I have never finished. LOL

I am much into history, And have several books on WW1-WW2, American Civil War, Victorian London, and Carnegie steel all in the 600 and up pages. Was thinking about getting the Biography on Abraham Lincoln. I always like reading those small things about history that many might not know, like the small details of his life, letters he wrote, etc

I was never good with History Books. I found them depressing when I was younger. When I got into my 20's I forced myself to learn about ww1 and ww2 as I thought it was important to know about it. I wish I could get into history more.

Ugh. I do it every time I am working on a build. I Download my references images for the build
*Goes to open the reference image to work on the build, Right clicks on the images
*Somehow misses the "preview" button, and clicks on "set as desktop background" Now I have to sort thought all my images and find my wallpaper again D=, and I do it every other time lol

Find that one of the things that I constantly have trouble with in some of my builds. Is doing old construction/mining equipment. Like my latest cat 769, and Fiat-allis dozer.

I for some reason find it hard to make the build "pop" or get the details to stick out if you get what I am saying. All those old pieces of equipment are usually all one color, and details just sorta blend together into one blob. Making them kind of dull lol.

Have a rental car just for a couple days. because my truck is in the shop, after my mom sideswiped it in the driveway lol. And it never fails. Already had to tell everyone I have ever know after they asked, that no I didn't get a new car lol. Already can't wait to get my truck back (was only minor damages)

Hope you like it when you get it :) Bought mine used. Had the issue of I need a truck, but I can't afford a truck problem. I think I did pretty well. Ended up with a 2014 Ford f150 XLT, with 60,000 miles (96,560 km) For around 25-26 grand

Thing is, my dealership had like next to no vehicles on the lot and what they did have would have been overbudget for me. Plus, the way I saw it, if I was going to be spending around 30 grand total on a vehicle I may as well get what I want. Obviously I'll be financing, but that's besides the point.

Nice. Remember seeing your post about ordering one. I started out with a small suv, then traded up to my truck as soon as I about had my SUV payed off. Because I got to doing jobs where I need to haul materials and tools around.

I have never actually ordered a vehicle before. I usually take what ever the dealer has on lot that I like most, and customize if it I want to later. Tho in the case of my truck it was what I could afford lol. Tho I haven't added anything to my truck yet. Was going to put a tonneau cover on it. But then in the winter I would have to clean all that off (garage to small, or truck to big lol). So I kind of just let the snow fall in the bed. Then when I need it for something. I just shovel it out lol

I see, honestly, I wouldn't mind having a sedan or coupe if I didn't live in an area where it snows of 80% of the year. In my area, I think it's stupid if you don't have a vehicle with all-wheel drive. Which is why I've recently ordered an SUV with AWD. It'll be a while yet until it's built and sent to my dealership but the first step has been taken.
