SKINTOBER! We've got our first couple Skintober Prompt list! For those that don't know, Skintober is a skinning event that occurs during the entire month of October. Every day in October you create a skin based off of the prompt for that day. Originally created by Fawne, many members across PMC create their own version. kurakosmos published one this week, which you can see below!

this powered pixel potato gun by FishStacks was created as a result of a "potato" comment. FishStacks comments on their own wall post, indicating that they're thinking of creating a 3D model of this gun. We're keeping our eyes open for it! 👀

Using Adobe, 7zJollymice79 created their dragon OC with a Dream Mask on its face.

This salmon colored scene is one of two shared in this wall post by -Rae-. Rae has several blogs including photography, several art blogs, and short stories! 📚

JosueCr4ft has a mission to make all of the Super Smash Brother Ultimate characters Minecraft style! So far, they've completed Link from Zelda, Donkey Kong, Mario, and Samus. You can check them all out here	If you're familiar with Aspirin60 you may know them for their awesome mob skins. But did you know that they're also a very talented artist? You'll find several sketches of insects and reptiles over on their profile, and their latest sketch of 3 mosquito friends feasting on bottles of blood in an art blog! 🦟
AkioHiro received their professional drawing kit arrived today as well as their Fineliner set and drew Seventh Son Eddie first thing with them! ✏️ Akio has an art blog if you'd like to see more of their work!	A serene scene of a swan and a frog visiting by bugbinary. We took a peek at bug's other submissions to see if they had any art blogs but instead found a lovely acrostic love poem titled carnation. The poem was a finalist in the Love Poem Contest and is definietely worth a read! We hope to read more poems by bug and see more art by them, too!

9/11 TRIBUTES 🇺🇸
This year marked 20 years since the attack on the twin towers in New York City in 2001. On the day of the anniversary, we saw members publish Minecraft replicas of the twin towers to pay homage to the lives lost and in remembrance of the World Trade Center. Here are a couple of them:

TheLimeHit's World Trade Center replica is almost an exact replica of the original World Trade Centers and includes custom interiors for most of the complex. The towers are part of their bigger project, New Limesville, a realistic city build on 1:1.5 scale. The larger map contains other iconic landmarks and skyscrapers including One Richardson Park Twoer and Alliance Plaza.	MaxForDayz created the twin towers at a 2:1 scale replica, taking them approximately 1.5 months to make. They did an excellent job recreating the two skyscrapers and surrounding buildings!

In addition to twin tower replicas, we saw some first responder tribute skins created by SatinNewt. They created a total of 5. You can see them all in this blog.

BEDROOM BUILD This unique project is a recreation of the protagonist Rin's room in "Shelter", the short film by Porter Robinson & Madeon with A-1 Pictures & Crunchyroll. LocusAzzurro's first submission in a year, they've rendered three main scenes created as separate maps to recreate the room seen in different parts of the short film; Morning, Daytime and Night time. In the making of the video where you can check out through the submission, 24 different world saves were used, you can download them with the download link in this project and check them out.

MOB TWEAKS

🕷️ Spiders Enhanced by PixlBoi is their first ever texture pack and was created as a test. It replaces the overworld spider, having just a slight difference to make it look a little better.	Most of you probably agree that this is one of the most cursed mob replacements we've seen - and we would agree. SadSquire created this pack that replaces the rabbit with - a villager. And yes, it breeds.	Shrimp or salmon? Or shrimp salmon? Add some diversity to your oceans with this pack by pigeo that replaces salmon with shrimps! 🦐 pigeo has several other simple mob packs you can check out here!

FEATURED DATA PACKS One of the top trending data packs this weeks is created by Whimzee. Their pack, Minecraft, but you control the Four Horsement of the Apocalypse adds 4 new items that summon unique and powerful horses: Conquest, War, Famine and Death. Whimzee teases that they'll add a 5th item "more powerful than everything else combined" if people enjoy the video you see to the right. Click play to see the horsemen at their full power taking on 100 flying pillagers with rocket launchers, 100 ghasts, 200 dual wielding skeletons on bees, and 5 totem poles of drowned stacked 20 hiihg - impressive.

Oceans Additions by Primalugly adds some more content to Minecraft's oceans! You'll find a new mob (hello lobsters!), a new armor set, new knockback weapon and a new fully animated boss fight. 🦞 A simple pack that'll make your oceans a little more lively!	Dungeon Now Loading is a structure datapack by Hex -now loading- that adds in more than 10 vanilla-like random structures with unique bosses. The datapack also provides advancements, items, and a new health system. The datapack was updated this week and included a boss optimization
