I love how someone comes here and tries to get some help and immediately someone tries to make it about themselves.
As far as I understand this topic isn't about veganism, why do people feel the need to brag about chewing on veggies...
OP, try to talk to the parents to find out their motives? And maybe try to change their mind? It's an awful situation. But try to make her feel better any way you can ok? The human race is indeed hate-worthy, it's up to us to try and make a difference.
