I hardly find interest at PMC anymore. I come everyday and check topics I've posted in, and none of the interesting ones have a new reply. I pretty much don't browse this site anymore.

And to be honest, I wouldn't really care...There's tons of forums elsewhere, and as much as I like this site, I'd be happy if all the other sites suddenly got a traffic boost. I perceive an imbalance in the force.

I don't really think that's the case. Relax.

I personally understand what they meant by "low poly", but I do agree that it's not low poly at all. It just has a certain simpler look, but that can help in many cases, so, can't really complain or praise or give any comments in general.

I'm using Conquest and Optifine with connected textures and all that good stuff it's just that the carpet I have with the pack looks different than the ones I see in videos and pictures of the pack.

And yes, I checked to make sure it is the Conquest texture pack and not something else. I have seen a few images with the same carpet I have so I'm not sure if it's just a different version of Conquest or I'm just doing something wrong.

(1) Connected textures are on in your Optifine settings, right?

(2) Your carpet is clearly inherently different from what everyone else has.
Check your resource pack version.

(1) This is in CAD, it'd be cheaper in USD, likely.
(2) I don't see why a CPU cooler or a storage device is necessary. A flash drive or an ethernet port will suffice for usage.

(3) You will want some sort of monitor and a keyboard.
(4) This is still only through PCPartPicker. It'd still be cheaper to get a Raspberry Pi or buy a used computer. And either are more reliable than this.

But you can't really just hack up some rudimentary power supply, though...You'd still need some sort of adapter...I think mine would be more reliable.

Are you being sarcastic...? That's not very big of a plan...

So far, you have part of a plan. This handles vehicle ownership, and you have a goal of saving up $25 000 so that you can buy an old convertible Corvette and paint it hot pink, getting a smoking vehicle.

What will you do with it, then? What's the purpose of this?
What are you going to do with the money left behind?

And if you're going to save $25 000, you'll have A LOT more things to be worried about than a Corvette by that time. You'll probably seek to invest elsewhere.

Otherwise, that's an awesome goal. Don't make it your primary, but that's a good goal.
