oh god this was quite a ways back, sometime in 2011 in Beta.
was going through random Youtube videos and seen this odd block game and was like "ha, look at this childish game. /clicks next video"
a week or so passes and a cousin of mine randomly texts and asks if i've ever heard of Minecraft and would ever get down on it if he bought the account.
free kids game? pfffft okay.
we join a random server and search far and wide for each other, finally being united and building a house in a hill.
two weeks later i bought my own account and still play to this day.
this isn't a children's game, this is a stress-relieving godsend of a game.
