I have the same problem. Eventually I got around it by uploading from my phone using cellular instead of wifi. PMC seems to have something against my home network. It was working until about a week ago. Did it ever start working again for you?

I'm having the same problem. I haven't been able to upload my texture pack for the past week. I've tried different browsers and even different machines. What's really strange is that once I attempt to upload, the connection to planetminecraft for my whole house seems to break for several minutes. Even loading the PMC home page from my tablet (where I am not logged into my PMC account) fails. The connection from my phone over cellular (not going through my home network) continues to work the whole time. Then after a few minutes, the site starts working again across all my computers/devices (except upload still fails of course).

    imrevned,
    What is your computer/network setup?

I am running Linux. I tried uploading on two different machines running different versions of Ubuntu. I tried uploading from both Firefox and Chrome. My tablet and phone are both Motorola Android devices, but I have not tried uploading from those. My internet connection is through Comcast, and I am using a Motorola wireless router. No other websites give me this problem. I was able to upload my texture pack to dropbox with no issue.

I think your boogie monster counts as original. As you found with your google search, the idea of a "boogie monster" is not much more specific than just a monster in general. Unless you copied some specific example of a boogie monster, then yours is original.

What makes you think that GIMP is a "primitive newbie tool". It is very powerful. I believe it does more than Photoshop Elements but not quite as much as Photoshop CS (that's the several hundred dollar professional version).

Also, GIMP is cross-platform, so if you get used to it on a system such as Windows, you can still use it when on a different system like MacOS or Linux.

I use GIMP. It doesn't do quite everything that Photoshop does, but it comes close. GIMP is free, open source, and available at GIMP.org.
