    Reboot == restart. Click the Windows flag bottom left, click Power, click Restart.

    SUXpanDNothing newer out there for Windows 10, but it uses largely the same driver model. Should work, hopefully!

    I was well aware. I'm running some old 7/8 drivers here too (on 10 x64, old Epson all-in-one), no issues there. Shame it didn't work for you, though.

    EDIT:
    TJosherIT says it has installed, but it hasn't. I have checked everywhere and nothing is there.

    Have you rebooted? If it installed properly, you should also be seeing a red Catalyst icon in your taskbar's icon tray. If you don't see that even after a reboot, this probably hasn't worked.

    Assuming you're on a 64-bit installation of Windows:
    http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/d ... 8%20-%2064
    (grab the beta, seems to have some fixes)

    EDIT: Argh, hotlinking protection. Updated link above should work, hopefully.

    Not quite sure here, though I believe it was somewhere in 2011 or 2012. The first version I really remember playing was 1.2.5. Got several accounts now, so... I've come far!

    If you're on a 64 bit system (which you generally would be, nowadays), try:
    http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/d ... s+8.1+-+64

    If you're on a 32 bit system/install:
    http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/d ... s+8.1+-+32

    Right-click into Catalyst from your taskbar (should be a running program), enter the Catalyst Control Center, expand Information, go to Software and write down the "Catalyst version" somewhere, so you can go back if the new one proves to be less stable for you.

    After doing the above... Download the software suite, close all programs, run it, install and reboot. If you have the technical know-how, you could try running the Display Driver Uninstaller beforehand, though this is generally not needed.

    Keep us up to date!

    (if your system fails to boot for whatever the reason, repeatedly hit F8 before Windows tries to start and you should be able to boot into Safe Mode and remove Catalyst to try again)

    Something that shows up on screenshots is not going to be on the monitor end of things.

    Do you know what kind of graphics card/chip you have, and which version of Windows you're on? I'm gonna have to call either graphics drivers or something funky in Java on this one.

    Bumpity bumpington the second! Managed to get stack size changing working, eggs + cakes + stews + snowballs + signs now stack to 64. Doing a few tests with it, might make it its own public plugin later for people to play around with if it's stable enough. It's a lot less complicated than StackableItems, and it seems pretty safe too, so far.

    Here's a quick bit of code, written quickly and untested so may not be entirely accurate:

    public boolean onCommand(CommandSender sender, Command cmd, String[] args)
    {
    if (args[0].equalsIgnoreCase("yourcommandhere"))
    {
    // this is a comment, and will be ignored by the IDE -- add your actual teleportation code here
    return true;
    }
    return false;
    }

    Keep in mind that you will also need to implement CommandExecutor on your main class, and you'll have to register the command under onEnable.

    CommandExecutor example (from my ClaimXP plugin, change plugin name) :

    public final class ClaimXP extends JavaPlugin implements CommandExecutor

    Registration under onEnable:

    this.getCommand("yourcommandhere").setExecutor(this);

    I'll leave getting the IDE up and running to you -- you'll need the basics there to do anything plugin-related. It may also be worth reading into Java itself if you want to get more serious with development.

    There's browser addons that do the whole saving-as-you-write thing, too. Lazarus for Firefox is a personal favorite, but there's probably a Chrome counterpart too. Super convenient if you do get stuck after typing something up.

    (been getting this the last few days, awkward but at least there's eyes on it now!)

    You will need to have custom commands in a plugin, unless you're modifying something clientside (= on your computer, locally). These plugins do not necessarily have to be self-made -- an aliasing plugin with support for custom text commands might already fit the bill. Have a look on dev.bukkit.org or spigotmc.org for those.

    On where, a server you run? If so, get into making Bukkit plugins! Have a look here:
    http://wiki.bukkit.org/Plugin_Tutorial

    It's not easy to start out with (and really requires a base knowledge of Java), but being able to make custom things for your server does allow you to add a lot of flavor.

    Does it do this with an unmodded .jar, too? I'm running OptiFine too, but I had quite a bit of trouble getting it all running stably.

    Here's something that might be worth trying:
    • - Open the Windows Explorer, the one you use for browsing your files
    • - At the top where it shows you where you're at, enter: %appdata%
    • - Make a copy of the .minecraft folder.
    • - Empty out the original. You can try emptying out /versions/ and then /libraries/ inside, first.
    • - With a bit of luck, it should download clean versions of everything again on next launch.

    (you will probably need to then install OptiFine again)

    Disclaimer here is that I haven't tried this with the new launcher yet, so I'm a bit fuzzy on the details. Used to help a lot a year or two ago, though! Make sure you make that folder copy, just in case! You can always rename it back to .minecraft if something goes wrong, then.
