I can understand it with large things like ships, as in to prevent yourself from biting off more than you can chew, but the Kraz 225 and the RM 70 Vampire are relatively small. So, maybe you could build those :P

thanks, yeah im on 1.21.4 currently. first build I noticed the issue on was my amphibians pack last year after I went to 1.21.1. the schems still load in game just fine for me anyway. next post should be in a few days and I will see if I can do anything to fix it then, and if I do fix it I'll update the schems for my previous few posts

This has been hung for ~5min

Checking https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/lcu-2000-usav-runnymede-class-landing-craft-1-1/#tab_schemagic appears to work as intended

Assuming you are using a newer version now than in 2021, this suggests the issue may be version dependent

i am COMPLETELY stumped by what USV model this is, its only referred to as an "LRUSV" by press release sites, but the marines have another vessel named LRUSV that floods results and is infinitely more well known. this image from IBP 21 is the only real photo i can find of it.

just spent two hours researching and fighting chatGPT for a INCREDIBLY obscure patrol boat to put in a 2025 update for my patrol boat pack. I can only confirm two of the type were ever made and I just came to the end of my research to find out the one in Norfolk was put up for auction 8 DAYS AGO by the navy, might build it out of spite anyway

You don't need it to do that for you. With what you're doing, it seems like a lot more work than necessary. Literally any search browser or even Reddit would be better.
Even while fact checking it, ChatGPT is contributing to the destruction of our environment at a rapid pace, more so than regular ai. And not only that, but it's data centers are poisoning small towns water supplies who desperately need it.

and i GET your hate for AI. im SICK of AI images and videos. but as long as youre ALSO using your brain? using it to augment research is very useful. and ive not once had it fail to give me a source on a document for a ship that i've asked it for. plenty of false positives and irrelevant information, but since im not turning my brain off and blindly trusting it thats fine

brother i use GPT to find sources. i dont use it to generate plans of ships, i dont use it to make the build itself. i find info on what i need, give it that info, and see if it gives me any relevant sources that i missed, its not like i blindly use what it gives me without reading it and fact checking it. i literally would never have found a proboat magazine article from 1999 that mentions this obscure boat and which shipyard built it in ONE sentence of the 100 page document without it.
