So...The new moderation is bad, because it will actually try to moderate instead of leaving it a wild west that it was/is now and we're all supposed to trust you that the system is bad, because "trust me, bro"? That's asking for a lot with very little actual evidence to confirm your theories.

    Hey,

The reasoning behind why they're introducing the moderation system is kind of irrelevant as it can benefit the community (if done properly of course) even if it's a PR mode to improve the image of the companies and the game.

Is the amount of wrongfully banned players on Realms really so high that it can't be written off as a simple human error that happens with majority of moderation systems?

Why is the system destined to fail?

Your 6th point and the paragraph below it basically undermine all your other points.

If Mojang/Microsoft are so incompetent that they can't enforce their EULA on all these servers selling various in-game items and benefits, why should we be afraid that they'll be able to successfully operate this new report system and enforce it to the point where it actually affects the community in a negative light?

If it's just a PR stunt then we can assume that the system will not be extensively used and the amount of people actually affected by it will be minimal to none - depending on the staff that dish out bans for it and how dedicated they are to investigating of the reported claims.

I honestly think that the entire community is overreacting to this new moderation system.

Like with anything, there's people who like mods and people who don't. You shouldn't restrict yourself to vanilla if you think you'll have more fun with mods. However, at the same time you shouldn't force your sibling to "endure" a heavily moded experience if that's not what they enjoy.

If you're looking to play with your brother, I suggest a compromise. Instead of completely changing the experience, start off with basic mods that add a couple of things here and there (basically building on vanilla experience rather than completely changing it like some of the huge modpacks do) and see if your brother will enjoy such an experience.

Honestly, I haven't tried it yet. However, knowing my taste I doubt I'd like it.

I feel like I'm the only person left on this planet that hasn't succumbed to Among Us.

Worst thing is having to work in order to make a living. Would much rather just sit on my bum twiddling my thumbs and play games all day :P

Microsoft already owns Mojang, so it's a mute point.

I don't speak Spanish, but if I had more drive and money I'd go and learn it as I'd love to be able to speak more than two languages.

Most 24/7 sever hosting services are ones you have to pay for. If you have a good rig, I suggest that you simply host the server on your computer till you can afford to pay for a premium service. If you plan on playing with friends, asking them to help with the server costs is something that can help tremendously as well.

Dark mode, because I spend most of my time in a dark room, so looking at bright stuff isn't really pleasant.

Try contacting Mojang/Microsoft directly and explain that you no longer have access to the email associated with the account and that you wish to change it. However, I assume that they'll require you to provide a proof of purchase as a security precaution, which you most likely lack due to not being the original owner.

Honestly your best bet is to simply purchase your own account as you'll avoid any further complications.

I don't really have a favorite genre, if the music is good it's good, though I do tend to listen to metal and jpop more than the other genres.

I personally would first purchase a better mouse as I feel that would be the most substantial upgrade that affects your gameplay and enjoyment of it.

Higher the FOV, the better your visibility is. I personally play at 90 which is usually the standard for most first-person games.

I honestly don't know exactly when I started playing Minecraft. However, I do remember buying it when it first blew up on YouTube, so I assume that it was in its Alpha stages.

Yeah, but if you ever wanted to ride one, you can ride this newly added one. That's why I'm saying that it's relevant as you get a visually distinct ravager you can mount.
