While it's true defenders are typically boring, I'm hoping to make some changes to how 'defense' works in this coming MMO, so as to give them some more action~ Regardless of that however, Assassin is a neat choice ^^
Basically in the story there are two paths the character can take regarding the main questline. Players can avoid the main questline of course, and remain completely neutral. However Neutral classes can side with either of the groups, good or evil. Whereas the divine classes and dark classes are kind of fastened to their specific alignment
And I'm specifically talking about what these classes will be used for: Minecraft MMO
Out of curiosity which edition do you play? Also, those classes are neutral in that they could be good or evil in regards to the storyline so you could technically do that yeah
Alright! Thanks everyone for your input~ I'm really interested to see how these all work out when the MMO is finished! If anyone wants to share what they'd like to use, you still can! We're still far from finished, so if things need to be changed they can
After checking in the forum Curseforge (a site for minecraft modders) I found some people willing to help out with the project! I've set up a discord server for anyone who wants to help out. I've fleshed out the mods that need to be worked on and am filling out the rest of the details of the MMO on a google docs format as well. However we still need a lot of help, so please let me know if you're willing or able. If you like the idea of a minecraft MMO but can't help out, at least spread the word, favorite, add an emerald. Anything helps!
A little update/side note: Currently I'm in no position to pay anyone for helping us develop this world. It would be volunteer work to make this MMO. I can however have you all mentioned among the developers, as well as advertise something of your creation if you'd like.
That is a good point. I'll look into how much those things cost, but as for where we are now project wise we are no where close to being ready for such a thing X'D
If it's possible to transfer a minecraft world into a dedicated server like you suggested, then we could probably start teraforming/building the world in small chunks until I'm able to do such a thing.
Thanks for the recommendation and feedback Brendann!
That's awesome to hear! I really hope to work with you soon as possible! If possible I would like to talk with you about the lore of the world, and try to get a gameplan set in motion for how we should build the world. Do you guys do teraforming as well as constructing buildings may I ask?
Or, would you like me to ask all this via discord?
I don't know what you mean by 'upload to minecraft.net button'. I'm trying to put skins in the mod. And the mod comes in jar. I've tried several ways to get into it, but without a special program (if it exists) I have to turn it into a zip. I have a mac, not windows it that makes things a bit more clear.
I tried doing what you said, but it's not working. I opened the zip, went to entities, placed the folder in it, condensed the folder back into a zip, then turned minecraft on but nothing changed.
Ok. The mod itself is a zip, not the skins. I will try creating a new folder for the skins and see how that turns out. Thanks, I'll let you guy's know if it works!
First off, I'm actually not that good with coding. Second, I am still working on this and If you'd like to help that would be great! And thirdly, if I am going to make the physical cards that would cost money, and I can't sell it in markets is the real problem.
And like I said, the minecraft card game is the stepping stone to an actual card game.
