The main question is why that kid was able to access a handgun in the first place, isn't it?
It seems like the father is just trying to dodge that question...

That's a pretty ridiculous claim, considering that vanilla minecraft has no guns whatsoever to begin with XD
...and I suppose minecraft also caused the father to not store his guns safely away from his kids

Yeah, half the time I can't see my own avatar, lol. Took about 15 minutes for the images for my newest project to appear today. Some days the site will load well but more often then not it won't load practically anything.

It must be the PMC servers... I too cannot see my avatar. On the other hand, I can see other avatars perfectly well- most of them anyways... however for me I uploaded my avatar to PMC, not simply linked...
Must be the same problem with the pictures. The ones that work are likely on a image hosting site like imgur/etc...
Youtube also loads here as well. Just not images uploaded directly to PMC... not the first time PMC has had such horrible server problems.

Depends how I die, 90% of the time I'm on a server I won't be carrying anything more valuable than a stone pick, I like to play it safe...
When I don't, even then I usually haven't lost too much. But if I have, I mine for more.
With factions servers it's a different thing though; when my builds are claimed I just rage quit, pretty much delete the server from my list and scream bloody murder... if I'm not able to reclaim it.

Rock; though I can enjoy metal if it's the right song... Rob Zombie for example, I think is awesome. Overall however, rock music imo is far more enjoyable for me, whether it's bands like Paramore, or even bands like KISS or Radiohead...
To be fair, imo rock music is more diverse than metal.
