Yep I knew about those bugs. The code is messy, so I'll have to fix it up at a later date.

No thanks, I'd rather stay with the style I have. I enjoy playing retro games, and this style is similar to the early pokemon games, so I like it.

Yep! I made the JFrame and one JPanel, then I just drew everything onto that.

McHorseThis idea sounds like Fez or something, and I also agree tha this game is fun to code.

I think it would look great if you'll use CrossyRoad styled art and isometric projection.

yoda473This seems like it'd be fun to code. I'm definitely going to play this when you're done. The concept kind of reminds me of a Minecraft map I once played, but it was way too short, and only had two dimensions.

Thanks! I did get this idea off of (i think) a skylanders level. Not entirely sure though, dont remember much about it.
what happened to the PMC game

I have put up a download link so you can guys can see with your own two eyes how far I managed to have gotten and judge the game on more than what I say.

What I have so far is (please note I do go to school so I get homework and I do chores regularly):
- The ability to load maps from a .txt file
- The normal and fire dimension ( the tiles have different textures)
- You can switch between the dimensions by pressing one and two.
- A main menu (in the works, need to get resources for it)
- A player that can move around the map (and the camera follows.)
- Currently the player only has one sprite (cant see him turn and walk a certain way)
- Can switch between the dimensions with a key press

I'll release a development version soon (which would be only for debugging purposes and to show what I have so far) so you can get the full effect.
