By the time your build is probably finished, there is going to be an update to Windows 10 (November Update) which adds a couple of features such as colored titlebars and a whole lot more fixes. It's currently expected to be released on November 10th according to a Microsoft Answer Tech. The update will be pretty much be what Windows 10 would have been if they didn't rush it on July 29th.

Yeah, you probably want Windows 10. If you still can't decide, I made a blog comparing the features in Windows 10, Windows 8.1, and Windows 7.

If you really need adblock so much, do what I did and use the .hosts file technique.

Another thing I want to say, I think the no extensions part actually makes it better. Why? Extensions is the one thing that can easily slow your browser down. Since Edge currently has no extensions, it makes it run blazingly fast when executing JavaScript. Microsoft said in one of it's blog posts that it's faster than Chrome and gave percentages as well as which JS benchmark was used (Google Octane, WebKit SunSpider, and Apple Jetstream). From what they said, Edge was faster than Chrome on all benchmarks. I personally tested it on all 3 benchmarks as well on Edge and Chrome and found Microsoft's results to indeed be true.

I live in the U.S. but no, sadly. But I can see if there might be one a little further away.

Literally, everything. The only thing I DON'T need is a CPU cooler.
Will you be overclocking?
Most likely.

What OS do you want?
Windows 8
Any specific case preferences?
large and blue. a little bit of light would fancy me.

A large hard drive.


Might as well get Windows10.

Minecraft thinks Windows 10 is Windows 8.1. Anyway, in the crash report, it says Pixel Format Not Accelerated which means the graphics card is failing. I want you to right click the start button and in the menu that pops up, click Device Manager. In the window that opens up there will be a lot of categories. Expand the category Display Adapters. There should be something inside. If the name of it is Windows Generic Display Adapter, try installing your graphics drivers again and then load up Minecraft. Tell me if that works.

I would recommend 6 gigabytes of RAM (maybe 8 if you want slightly better performance), Intel Core i5, a 1TB hard drive, and a good video card (Try NVIDIA!).

Yes, OEM copies are limited to the device they are installed on as it checks to see if the hardware matches the hardware on the PC it was originally on. You would be able to transfer it if you had a retail copy however.

2 years ago = 15 year old that ate alot of junk food, never really went outside to do something with friends (stayed on the computer instead).

Now = 17 year old that doesn't eat as much junk food, and still stays on the computer alot.

I've used Windows 7, Windows 8 and 8.1, and using Windows 10. I'll use Windows 7 if I really have to. Windows 8 or 8.1 is great and same for Windows 10.

Honestly, I don't think the Start Screen thing was bad. I knew how to use Windows 8 when I first experienced Windows 8 on a laptop I got. Didn't need to learn anything because I got it right out of the box. The first Microsoft Windows I ever tried was Windows XP, then I experienced Vista, then 7, then 8, and now 10. Funny enough, I tried all those OS's in the order they were released.

It's possible to share MCPE worlds on Planet Minecraft, it's just not common since not many people know how to do it. All you need is a program that can view/manipulate the files on your phone. (I recommend iExplorer.)


And since 0.11 you can share skins but again, you use a file explorer of some sort.
