Thats a very good couple of questions
And ill attempt to answer as honestly as i can by describing the reason for it being here.
Initially it was myself and a couple of family members, im old enough to afford a server easily (we got fed up of joining a couple of servers that just died or plagued by random idiots) and we dont live together so it was a great idea to get together. I picked plugins (which ill list after) which fitted in with what we thought was fun. A bit of building, friendly PVP/grief and so on. Using the Precious Stones plugin we each had control over what areas we could protect, earn money by either mining or mob killing to buy/use these stones. Some other plugins where added to facilitate this and add to it.
Well, know its pretty much just me and i think its a pretty good setup, probably needs a knowing hand to help get out the creases and such but i think its a good foundation to build a friendly group where we can have a bit of a laugh, and play some minecraft.
Now, if thats not your thing, thats absolutely fine and your welcome to pop in and say hello at any time. But if it sounds like it might be up your street, then now is a great time to jump on board.
