When building your computer yourself, especially with a budget in mind, you really have to think price to performance. Probably one of the first things you're going to have to choose is going with AMD or Intel. I cannot help you with this decision due to being biased towards Intel. You do want to spend more money on your graphics card then your cpu. Your gpu is most likely to bottleneck first.
