as far as i know bukkit is not out for 1.4 but there seems to be a plugin/mod for the 1.3.2 version of bukkit that allows 1.4.2 clients to join, but 1.4.2 items/mobs will not work.

Wooden pressure plates are the only type that are activated with items.

Its really likely that the modding API may not be on 1.4

They spawn in the nether and if you don't have armor on they can kill you in 3 hits.

I dont know all the details but what i do know is at about half health the wither boss starts to heal its self, and the "totems" are used to "give" you abilities like speed,hast things like that but you have to make a pyramid out of iron/gold/diamond/emerald.

Its not that easy to kill, it flys around shooting at you, and it can kill you really quickly

Do you even know how to make the Beacon (Totem)? You have to go to the nether and kill wither skeletons untill you get 3 wither skeleton heads, then you have to create the wither boss, after that you have to kill it. once dead you will get a wither star. with the star you need 3 obsidian and 5 glass. i dont think the Beacon is over powered at all

Can you please tell me how the totems are stupid? you have to kill the wither boss to even be able to make it.

You do have a choice to get the updates... when it asked if you want to update say No. or just downgrade to a old version of MC.

I for one really like the that change, b/c if you think about it when someone dies wearing armor they would not just stop wearing it :3 That's just what i think.

I agree with you. I love the changes that Jeb and Dinnerbone have made! but Im not a big fan of the carrots and the patatos. everything else is sweet! cant wait to see whats next!

you all do know you can use something like mc edit to do that... and i have never seen zombies holding dirt...

I like the changes so far but the flower pots are kinda odd to me, that does not mean i dont like them. i just dont see me ever using them. :3 But the new Wither Boss is really cool looking!

Jeb is not the only one adding things into Minecraft... Dinnerbone has added just as much as Jeb... So stop only blaming Jeb. Im really getting tired of everyone saying jeb is killing minecraft. When half of the changes Dinnerbone made... If you don't like the changes, don't update to 1.4 when it comes out... Just my thoughts.
